Moonies make bid for QPR

Religious cult the Moonies have made a bid to buy struggling Queens Park Rangers.
The Second Division club are still in administration and the subject of bids from several parties.
"We did have a meeting with the Unification Church," club spokesman Mike Hartwell told the Daily Express.

"They wanted to know the costs involved. It was one of dozens of inquiries that we have had.

"But the church was serious enough about it to request a meeting to see what the situation here is."

The Unification Church, run by the Reverend Sun Myung Moon and famous for their mass wedding ceremonies, already own football clubs in Brazil and South Korea, and now have their sights set on the London club.
