The Supreme Court in Tajikistan has sentenced two Islamic students to death for carrying out bomb attacks at a Christian mission in the capital, Dushanbe, last year.
The two men, Mustofokul Voimurodov and Sadridin Fathuddinov, were found guilty of terrorism and incitement to religious hatred.
Nine people died, and more than 30 were injured, when two bombs went off last October at the mission, during a service attended by about 200 people.
Both men were also found guilty of involvement in explosions at a store in Dushanbe and in the southern town of Dangara. No one was hurt in those attacks.
