Minister of State Chan Soo Sen has formed a working committee to develop the Code on Religious Harmony.
This working committee, comprising Members of Parliament Dr Ong Chit Chung, Mr Inderjit Singh and Mr Ahmad Khalis Abdul Ghani among others, will visit national bodies representing the main religions in Singapore.
These main religious groups will be consulted over the next three months in the development of the code.
Mr Chan says the Working Committee will incorporate as many ideas and views as possible.
The Code on Religious Harmony will be finalised in the first quarter of next year.
