In a story for publication Jan. 31, The Associated Press erroneously reported that the Church of the New Song, a religious group for prison inmates, is based in Bluffs, Ill.
The prison group has no formal headquarters. An unrelated congregation with the same name is located in Bluffs, Ill.
The erroneous information came from the "Encyclopedia of American Religions."
