A subway motorman who wears a turban as part of his Sikh religion has been reassigned. New York City Transit has moved Kevin Harrington from driving trains in public to moving trains in a rail yard.

Harrington has been a motorman for 20 of the 23 years he's been with the transit authority. He says he wore a turban when he was hired as a cleaner, when he was promoted to motorman and for every trip he's driven a train.
