300 Sikh pilgrims leave for Pakistan

Attari, India - Nearly 300 Sikh devotees on Tuesday left for Pakistan in a special train here to observe the martyrdom day of fifth Sikh master Guru Arjan Dev at Gurdwara Panja Sahib in Lahore.

The pilgrims would pay obeisance at various historic Sikh shrines across Pakistan during their nine-day stay in that country.

The SGPC had arranged for their visas.

The devotees would return to India on June 17.
