Local authorities had been warning that the flood water was gradually deteriorating the hide-out. Police and rescuers have been placed on guard outside the cave.

They say there has been a sinkhole collapse.

However, some people decided to remain underground. Doctors claim the seven who've emerged are in good health.

Local authorites had been warning that the flood water was gradually deteriorating the hide-out. Police and rescuers have been placed on guard outside the cave.

Thirty five people, including four children - went underground last November. They were planning to stay there till May, when they claimed Apocalypse would happen. Local officials and members of Russian Orthodox Church have tried to persuade the cultists to come out, but they refused to budge, threatening to set themselves on fire if they are forced to come out.

The leader of the Doomsday cultists Pyotr Kuznetsov has been confirmed mentally unfit and is kept in an asylum in Penza. He claimed to have spent more then a month expanding the cave. The group is now lead by a 82-year-old woman.

On Wednesday cultists have announced exiting the bunker on Orthodox Easter, late April.
