A German town is trying to lure tourists with a mixture of sex and religion -- condoms in a black wrapper highlighting its 700-year-old cathedral. By night, of course.
The condoms, sold by the tourist authority in Erfurt, eastern Germany, are apparently going down well with visitors.
But not everyone is happy. "It is not pious," thundered Reinhard Hauke, a priest at the cathedral.
The building, along with Erfurt's historic Kraemerbruecke, a bridge nearly 800 years old with houses on top, is among the town's best known landmarks.
