New Delhi: Five men who allegedly manhandled a missionary and burnt some publicity material, were detained by police in Rajasthan, a report said Saturday.
The five were detained in Rajasthan's Kota district on Friday on charges of a breach of peace and later released after the missionary, connected with the Emmannuel Mission, refused to lodge a complaint.
The incident comes on the heels of an attack on a group of villagers in Orissa last weekend in which the heads of seven women were forcibly shaved by fellow villagers because they refused to reconvert to Hinduism.
